A Dallas native, Linda Helton has been a graphic designer and illustrator for over 30 years. She has designed and illustrated everything from newspaper and magazine articles to children's books to annual reports. Linda's work has been nationally recognized in Communication Arts magazine, American Illustration, PRINT magazine and the Society of Illustrators Show in New York. One of her images was part of the Society of Illustrators 48th Traveling Exhibition in 2007.

In 2012, Linda had her first fine art exhibition at the Davis Foundry Gallery in Dallas. The show, titled  Best Friends,  celebrated the great friendship between dogs and their people (and dogs and their canine pals). It consisted of 20 acrylic paintings, several black and white prints and 7 full-sized paper mache fire hydrants painted in bright colors.

In addition to illustration assignments, Linda would love to do more pet portraits and fine art projects and get into more children's book illustration.
